KFCRIS signed agreement with Amazon to provide its publications on Kindle

The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies has announced the signing of an agreement with the global e-commerce company Amazon to provide books and studies through Amazon Kindle to read e-books. 

Dr. Saud Al-Sarhan, Secretary-General of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, said that this step reflects the Center's keenness to spread the cultural, literary and academic heritage of Islam and the Arab world around this world. 

Al-Sarhan stated that the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies provides, through the Amazon Kindle and the Kindle application for mobile phones, a number of the Center's publications of heritage and cultural books, contemporary intellectual studies, academic research and many varied titles. 

The free Amazon Kindle app for iPhone, Android, iPad, tablet and Kindle devices allows millions of Arabic readers worldwide to access more than 12,000 books in Arabic, including popular books for adult writers and pioneers.

Amazon recently announced that it fully supports Arabic books on the Kindle electronic reading system, as well as supporting Arabic books in the Kindle mobile application.
