On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS), German Orient-Institute (DOI), and Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies (ACPSS) co-convened an online panel discussion entitled: "Germany and MENA in a Time of Shifting Energy Landscapes." The opening remarks were given by Dr. Andreas Reinicke (Director, German Orient-Institute). Two speakers joined the discussion: Dr. Ahmed Kandil (Head of Energy Studies Program, Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies) and Dr. Tobias Zumbrägel (Researcher, Center for Applied Research in Partnership with the Orient (CARPO)). The discussion was moderated by Faris Al-Sulayman (Research Fellow, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies).
