KFCRIS signed MoU with General Authority for Culture to cooperate in the culture and heritage fields

The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies signed a memorandum of understanding with the General Authority for Culture to promote cooperation in cultural and heritage fields. The agreement was signed by KFCRIS Secretary-General, Saud Alsarhan, and the Authority Chief Executive Officer, Ahmed bin Fahd Almazeed.

Saud Alsarhan said that the agreement reflects the keenness of the Center and the General Authority for Culture to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest and exchange of expertise in the fields of culture. He pointed out that the memorandum of cooperation includes cooperation between the Center and the General Authority for Culture in several fields, the first is the field of intangible cultural heritage, and also the field of cultural activities related to the sectors of the "body" (films, drama, literature, theater, performing arts, visual arts), as well as informational and practical activities of the Center.

"We are confident that our cooperation with our partners at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies will contribute to the consolidation and development of the main work sectors of the Authority," said HE Ahmed bin Fahad Almazeed. 

The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies aims to cooperate with universities, research, academic and educational bodies locally and internationally to promote academic cooperation and strengthen cultural relations and scholarly exchanges.
