The Journal of Linguistic Studies, issued by Al-Faisal Cultural House, a publishing arm of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, succeeded in achieving Arab Citation and Impact Factor (Arcif) Criteria in both the Literature and Arabic Language fields, with its Impact Factor at 0.0233, in the index published by Arcif for the year 2022, according to the seventh Annual Report of Arcif on refereed Arabic-language academic journals.

‏The Impact Factor of Arcif is subject to the oversight of the supervisory and coordination council consisted of representatives of several Arab and international bodies such as the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in Beirut, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the e-Marefa Database, and experts and academics.
