On Monday, February 6, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. In the signing of the MoU, the KFCRIS was represented by its Assistant to the Secretary-General, Mr. Ibrahim Aldeghaither, and the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque was represented by its Assistant to the General President for Governance and Development Affairs, Supervisor General of the General President Office, Prof. Abdul-Wahhab bin Abdullah Al-Rasini.

The MoU aims to enhance the cooperation between the two entities, with the goal to unify their efforts in the fields of research and publications, and collaborate in organizing conferences, seminars, and training workshops, in accordance with each entity’s expertise.
