A delegation from the Al-Ahsa district representing a number of high school students and supervisors visited the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, under the auspices of the National Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.
The delegation was briefed on the Alfaisal Museum of Arab-Islamic Art, which includes more than 200 rare heritage pieces, unique manuscripts and printed manuscripts in the Holy Quran, and a visit to the Library, Manuscripts and Relief Department.
The visit aims to increase the knowledge culture of students and enable them to build bridges to communicate with government and private bodies, as well as to understand the mechanism and importance of their work, so as to develop a sense of pride and loyalty to this country and its various institutions.
It is worth mentioning that the branch of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in Riyadh included the Center, the museum, library, and a section of manuscripts in the tourist track of the city of Riyadh.
