On Wednesday 2 June 2021, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies and the Chatham House co-convened an online panel discussion entitled “China and MENA: New Interests and New Approaches.” Three speakers joined the panel discussion: Lina Benabdullah (Assistant Professor, Politics and International Affairs, Wake Forest University), Andrea Ghiselli (Assistant Professor, School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University), and Courtney J. Fung (Associate Fellow, Chatham House Asia-Pacific Program). The discussion was moderated by Dr. Mohammed Al-Sudairi (Head of Asian Studies Unit, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies) and Sophie Zinser (Schwarzman Academy Fellow, Asia-Pacific and Middle East Programs, Chatham House).
