Panel discussion: Islam and Muslims in China at the Turn of the Twentieth Century: Transformations and Global Influences

On Wednsday, December 6, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) held a panel discussion entitled "Islam and Muslims in China at the Turn of the Twentieth Century: Transformations and Global Influences.”
Five speakers joined the discussion: Prof. Chung-fu Chang (Associate Professor, Department of Ethnology, National Chengchi University), Dr. David Brophy (Senior Lecturer, History, University of Sydney), Dr. Hannah Theaker (Lecturer, History and Politics, University of Plymouth), Prof. Tatsuya Nakanishi (Associate Professor, Institute for Research in Humanities, Kyoto University), and Prof. Marie-Paule Hille (Associate Professor, School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences).
The discussion was held in the presence of HRH Princess Maha bint Mohammed AlFaisal, the Secretary-General of the KFCRIS.
