KFCRIS and ISRS co-convened panel discussion entitled “New Uzbekistan – A New Foreign Policy”

On Wednesday May 26, 2021, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS) co-convened an online panel discussion entitled “New Uzbekistan – A New Foreign Policy.” The opening remarks were given by Dr. Mohammed Al-Sudairi (Head of Asian Studies Unit, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies), and Sanjar Valiev (Deputy Director, Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan). Three speakers joined the panel discussion: HE Ambassador Alisher Kadirov (Head of Department, Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan), HE Ambassador Shukhrat Kabilov (Chief Researcher, International Institute of Central Asia, Republic of Uzbekistan), and Akram Umarov (Lecturer, University of World Economy and Diplomacy). The discussion was moderated by Rustam Khuramov, (Head of Department, Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan).
