On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP). In the signing of the MoU, KFCRIS was represented by the Assistant to the Secretary-General, Mr. Ibrahim Aldeghaither, and MEP was represented by the Deputy Minister for Strategic Planning and Organizational Excellence, Dr. Fahad Alhumaidah.

The MoU aims to enhance the cooperation between the two entities in developing and harmonizing the strategic direction of national development priorities and economic policies, and enabling the decision-making process through the preparation of methodologies and studies.
