KFCRIS signed MoU with University of Geneva

On Monday, October 21, 2024, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Geneva. The MoU aims to encourage research collaboration between the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation at the University of Geneva, one of the oldest training and research centers in the world, and the UNESCO Chair in Translating Cultures supported by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission. The two parties will collaborate on organizing seminars, workshops, and other research events at both institutions. They will jointly work on publishing research publications and exchanging scholars through the Chair's fellowship program and the Translating Cultures Lab.
In the signing of the MoU, KFCRIS was represented by the Assistant to the Secretary-General, Mr. Ibrahim Aldeghaither, and the University of Geneva was represented by the Vice-Rector, Dr. Stéphane Berthet and the Faculty Dean, Prof. Pierrette Bouillon.
