The Saad Al-Sowayan Library is home to rich resources in multiple fields, including religion, history, politics, literature, and science, as well as Nabataean poetry; some of which are rare and highly valuable. It contains 2,447 Arabic-language books, 1,820 English-language books, 34 magazines, and 97 photocopied manuscripts.

You can look for materials through the bibliographic database.

The services are available between Sunday and Thursday, 9 am to 3 pm.

Visitor Guidelines *Please read them prior to your visit:

- Books are for in-house use only and cannot be checked out or taken out of the library.

- Visitors can photocopy library materials for reference purposes by following the library’s guidelines.

- Food and drinks are not allowed inside the library.

- Please be mindful of other visitors and speak in low voice, whether in person or using cell phone.

- Writing notes on books is not allowed.
