Public Lecture: Preserving the Legacies and Cultures of Native American Peoples (jointly organized with the U.S. Embassy)

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and the US Embassy in Riyadh jointly held a public lecture entitled "Preserving the Legacies and Cultures of Native American Peoples.” The lecture was delivered by Glenna Wallace, Chief of the Eastern Shawnee tribe, and was moderated by Kameal Al-Ahmad (KFCRIS Research Fellow). Several native Americans from different tribes also participated in its Q&A session.

The lecture was held in the presence of HRH Princess Haifa AlFaisal, a member of the Board of Trustees of the King Faisal Foundation, HRH Princess Maha bint Mohammed AlFaisal, the Secretary-General of the KFCRIS, and HE the Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Michael Ratney.
