On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies held an online panel discussion entitled “Poverty in Africa and Ways to Prevent It”. Four speakers joined the discussion: Dr. Miloud Ameur Haj (Political Science Professor, National Higher School of Political Sciences, Algeria), Dr. Ingy Mohamed Abdulhamid (Political Science Lecturer, National Center For Social & Criminological Research), Mubarak Ahmed Mohamed (Somali Researcher and Journalist specialized in Somali Studies and Horn of Africa Affairs, Cairo), Dr. Samer bin Abdullah Al-Jutaili (Advisor to Supervisor General and Spokesperson, King Salman Humanitarian Aid And Relief Centre). The discussion was moderated by Dr. Mohamed Al-Sbitli (Head of African Studies Program, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies).
