On Thursday, October 26, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) jointly held a workshop entitled “Forced Displacement and the Role of State and Non-State Actors: Global Trends.”

The opening remarks were given by (Kelly Clements, Deputy High Commissioner, UNHCR), Dr. Mohammed Wahab, (Director, Arab Center for Technical Cooperation in Migration and Border Management, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS)), and (Dr. Mansour Almarzoqi, Director, Center for Strategic Studies at Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies (IDS); Director, Center for American Studies at IDS). The workshop was moderated by Dr. Fahad Alsharif (Senior Researcher Fellow, KFCRIS).
