On Sunday, December 10, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and Khakimov Club jointly held a workshop entitled "Saudi-Russian Relations: A Strategic Partnership and New Horizons.” The event was chaired by HRH Prince Turki AlFaisal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KFCRIS and HE Ambassador Oleg Ozerov, the Chairman of the Khakimov Club.

The opening remarks were delivered by HRH Prince Turki AlFaisal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KFCRIS, HE Eng. Waleed El-Khereiji, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and HE Ambassador Oleg Ozerov, the Chairman of the Khakimov Club.

A number of prominent figures delivered the keynote remarks: HE Ambassador Dr. Rayed Krimly (Director General of the Policy Planning Department, Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and HE Ambassador Gennady Tarasov (Former Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). Dr. Majed Al-Turki (Director of the Center of Information and Arabian-Russian Studies), and Artem Yuryevich Kiryanov (Member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation). Stanislav Yankovets (Trade representative of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), and HE Ambassador Andrey Baklanov (Former Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). Prof. Saleh Al-Khathlan (Senior Advisor, Gulf Research Center), and Dr. Mansour Almarzoqi, (Director of the Center for Strategic Studies, Director of the Center for American Studies, Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies).
