On Sunday, January 23, 2024, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) held a panel discussion entitled “Arabo-Islamic Architecture.”

Two speakers joined the discussion:  Diana Darke (Author and expert on Arabo-Islamic Architecture) and Prof. Nasser Rabbat (Director, Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture, Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

The Assistant Secretary-General for Scientific Affairs at KFCRIS, Dr. Abdullah Hamidaddin delivered the opening remarks.

The discussion was held in the presence of HRH Princess Haifa AlFaisal, a member of the Board of Trustees of the King Faisal Foundation and HRH Princess Maha bint Mohammed AlFaisal, the Secretary-General of the KFCRIS.
