Store and preserve the collections; coordinate loaning; manage and classify the collections and archive the information; manage social communication
EXHIBITIONS & EVENTS:
Organize exhibitions and events; develop training and cultural programs; coordinate visits and tours
CONSERVATION & BINDING:
Conserve, maintain, and sterilize the manuscripts; bind the manuscripts in the traditional way in the Islamic civilization
1,145 manuscripts have been restored and conserved by the KFCRIS until today. Its notable restorations include:
Tafsīr al-Ṭabarī: 522 sheets
Fatḥ al-Qadīr: 595 sheets
Kalīla wa Dimna: 156 sheets
Akhbār al-Nisā’: 159 sheets
Mumluk Qur’an: 405 sheets
