Conclusion of "Saud Al Awtan" conference in memory of Prince Saud AL-Faisal

The 3-day international "Saud Al Awtan" conference, organized by the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies Center in honor of late Prince Saud al-Faisal, concluded its sessions on Tuesday.
During the closing session, a number of prominent Saudi, Gulf and Arab figures delivered speeches in which they highlighted the prominent personal characteristics of late Prince Saud al-Faisal and hailed his distinctive approach in the field of foreign policy during his tenure as foreign minister of Saudi Arabia for 40 years. They also praised the stances of Prince Saud al-Faisal in the service of Arab and Islamic issues, as well as his role in the creation and supporting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Those who spoke at today's sessions were Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former Secretary General of the GCC Jamil Al-Hejailan, first Secretary of the GCC Dr. Abdullah Bishara, Secretary-General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Elaraby, former Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Qattan, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Iyad bin Amin Madani and former Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Ismail.
