On Tuesday September 22, 2020, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies convened an online discussion panel entitled “Political Developments in Mali Between the Popular Movement and Foreign Interference.” The panel was moderated by Dr. Mohamed Al- Sbitli (Head of African Studies Unit at KFCRIS). Three speakers joined the discussion panel: Dr. Mohesn Al-Nadawi (President of the Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies and International Relations), Dr. Mady Ibrahim Kante (lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Administrative and Political Sciences at the University of Bamako, Mali), and Abed Sufyan (a researcher in the history of Sub-Saharan Africa).
