On Monday December 28, 2020, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies convened an online panel discussion entitled “Discussing the Consequences of the Elections in African Countries in 2020.” Four speakers joined the panel discussion: Mamadou Tafsir Balde (President, Guinean Center for Studies and Translation), Dr. Hassane Cisse (Professor, Al-Furqan Islamic University, Ivory Coast), Thierno Bashir Sow (Journalist, Reveil newspaper, Senegal), and Mohammed Al-Gazzar (Researcher, Cairo University). The discussion was moderated by Dr. Mohamed Al-Sbitli (Head of African Studies Unit, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies).
