On Sunday, June 26, 2022, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) convened an online panel discussion entitled: "The Current Situation in the Horn of Africa in Light of Developments in Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia” (jointly organized with Pharos Center for Consulting and Strategic Studies). Four speakers joined the discussion: Dr. Narmin Mohamed Tawfiq (General Coordinator, Pharos Center; Researcher in African affairs), Asmaa Al Husseini (Editor-in-Chief, Al-Ahram newspaper, Egypt; Researcher in African affairs), Tekwaj Peter (Researcher, Cairo University), and Abdul Qadir Muhammad Ali (Researcher in the Horn of Africa affairs). The discussion was moderated by Dr. Mohamed Al-Sbitli (Head of African Studies Program, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies).
