On Monday, January 30, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS), convened an online panel discussion entitled: "Irregular Migration from Africa to the Arabian Peninsula and the Coasts of Southern Europe." Four speakers joined the discussion: Prof. Ali Chebbi (Professor of Economics, University of Tunis), Dr. Fahad Alsharif (‏Senior Research Fellow, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies), Dr. Samar Khamlichi (Assistant Professor of Political Science, Mohammed V University), and Dr. Samar Albagoury (Assistant Professor of Economics, Cairo University). The discussion was moderated by Dr. Mohamed Al-Sbitli (Head of African Studies Program, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies).
