On Monday, September 19, 2022, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and the Embassy of Netherlands co-convened a public lecture entitled: "Source of Life: Water Management in the Premodern Middle East.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Maaike van Berkel (Professor, Radboud University), and moderated by Dr. Omar Anchassi (Postdoctoral Researcher, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies).
