On Monday, February 24, 2025, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and the Norwegian Centre for Conflict Resolution held a workshop entitled “Saudi Arabian and Norwegian Peace Diplomacy and the Question of Palestine”. The workshop was held in presence of HRH Prince Turki AlFaisal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KFCRIS. HRH affirmed that Saudi Arabia and Norway share a common stance in supporting the recognition of Palestine and accelerating diplomatic efforts to end the occupation, stressing that the two-state solution is the only just path to achieving peace. 

The workshop concluded that Saudi-Norwegian cooperation presents a strategic opportunity to mobilize international efforts to end the occupation and strengthen global justice. Workshop participants emphasized the importance of legal avenues, such as the case filed at the International Court of Justice and arrest warrants against occupation leaders, to ensure accountability and achieve justice for the Palestinian people.
