KFCRIS participated the Sino-Arab Forum for Reform and Development in Beijing

The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies participated in the "Sino-Arab Forum for Reform and Development" held in Beijing from April 23 to 24, 2018, in the presence and participation of a large number of institutions, research centers, political figures, academics and experts from China and various Arab countries. Secretary-General of KFCRIS, Dr. Saud Alsarhan, and Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Asian Studies Unit, Mohammed Al-Sudairi, were in attendance.

Participants in the forum, organized by the Center for Arab-Chinese Studies for Reform and Development in cooperation with the Chinese Foreign Ministry, discussed various topics on the governance and management of the country, topics related to exchange of experiences in this aspect, best experiences in achieving development and common prosperity, as well as a push forward in the Sino-Arab partnership in the "Belt and Road" initiative within the framework of the new opening horizons.

More than 50 Chinese and Arab government officials representing governments, universities and research centers participated in the forum. The Forum highlighted the relations between China and Arab countries based on comprehensive cooperation and common development, and new vital initiatives in economic growth and regional development.
