KFCRIS Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Muhammadiyah Assosiation of Scholars in Morocco

On Sunday, 1/1/1438H (2/10/2016), King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies held a closed seminar titled (The Term Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama’ah and the whims of politics) under the patronage of HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal –Chairman of the Board of Directors at the center. Many prominent Think Tank and political experts attended the seminar from within the Kingdom and abroad including: 

 

Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Mutlaq, member of the Council of Senior Scholars and Advisor to the Royal Court, Dr. Ahmad Ebadi, Secretary General of the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars in Morocco, Dr. Radwan Al-sayyed political bureau member of the future Movement, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sager chairman of the Gulf Research Center.

Prince Turki al-Faisal welcomed attendees at the beginning of the session stressing the importance of holding such discussion panels to stay in step with emerging developments and events. He also emphasized the urgent need to unite the nation in face of ongoing circumstances, staying away from what detracts from these efforts and sows division in the ranks.

Following the panel, a cultural and scientific agreement was signed between the center and the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars in Morocco, as part of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies efforts to bolster collaborations with various research institutions and Islamic organizations. The agreement was signed by HRH Prince Turki al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and HE Dr. Ahmad Ebadi, Secretary General of the Association of Muhammadiyah scientists.
