He said: "I toured the city of Almaty, and was impressed not only by the city's organization, cleanliness, and hospitality, but by the beauty of the wonderful mountains that make up the geographical location of this city, and I enjoyed the beauty of nature and the beautiful scenery of this generous country. Kazakhstan is also hosting an Expo these days, which indicates the importance of this country, which is attended by a Saudi delegation and SABIC's exhibition at King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy.”

HRH added: "When we came to Astana several months ago, the temperature there was zero, and of course as we came from the Arabian Peninsula, we were not used to this cold weather, but what compensated for it was the warmth of the reception from the people of Astana. In Almaty, the temperature rose with the warmth of the reception as well. I thank everyone who attended the opening, and I would like you to allow me and my colleagues to host you in the Kingdom as warmly as you hosted us here.”

The Deputy Governor of Almaty Mr. Arman Orazbayevich welcomed Prince Turki AlFaisal and the holding of the exhibition in the city. He thanked the residents of Almaty for their attendance and for the cooperation of colleagues from Astana, and expressed his happiness for hosting the exhibition, which revolved around the life and work of one of the founders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Faisal. He considered organizing such exhibitions and international projects as very important to the city, and hoped that there would be more of such projects between the two countries.
