The Journal of Linguistic Studies ranked in Arcif Q2 category for 2021

The Journal of Linguistic Studies, issued by Al-Faisal Cultural House, a publishing arm of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, ranked in the second (Q2) category in both the Literature and Arabic Language fields, with its Impact Factor at 0.0435, in the index published by the Arab Citation and Impact Factor (Arcif) for the year 2021, according to the Sixth Annual Report of Arcif on refereed Arabic-language academic journals.

The Impact Factor of Arcif is subject to the oversight of the supervisory and coordination council consisted of representatives of several Arab and international bodies such as the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in Beirut, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the e-Marefa Database, the Special Libraries Association-Arabian Gulf Chapter (SLA-AGC) and experts and academics.
