The Translating Cultures Lab (TCL) has been designed to implement the mission and vision of the UNESCO Chair in Translating Cultures by providing a collaborative and interdisciplinary forum for internationally recognized researchers to meet the multiple deliverables of this four-year effort.

The Lab's Objectives

  • Provide the framework and infrastructure to make progress on the Chair’s objectives.
  • Ensure that the deliverables of the Chair are accomplished on time and are of high quality.
  • Provide a platform for feedback and evaluation of processes and products of the Chair throughout its duration.
  • Develop the theoretical framework that will focus on each year’s themes.
  • Contribute to the Chair’s publication projects.
  • Organize workshops and seminars.
